| Sunday drive ends with <b>car</b> on its roof in Croydon - <b>PICTURES</b> <b>...</b> Posted: 16 Feb 2014 03:25 AM PST  (Picture: Twitter/Sgt David Deuchar/@MPSWoodsideGSgt) Alain Tolhurst Sunday, February 16, 2014 A Sunday morning drive ended pretty badly for one motorist after his car was pictured upside down on a path having smashed through a fence in Croydon.
A police officer on patrol in Grange Road came across the vehicle and posted images of the accident on Twitter. Sgt David Deuchar tweeted: "#UnpredictableJob driving down the road to find a car on its roof. "No one seriously injured. What caused it?" The Neighbourhood Sergeant for Woodside in Croydon tweeted two other pictures of the blue vehicle smashed up and lying upside down, saying the driver was facing investigation for driving offences.
The officer later said he was released without charge but added the hashtag #LuckyToBeAlive. Share this article
