All jambs were painted except engine bay which remains black. Motor and trans is out of a gto mileage unknown. New wheels and tires with less than 5k miles. Wheels are Wedsport sa55m. Tires are Michelin pilot super sport. Tein springs. Front struts are tokico illumina. Rear struts are Koni adjustable. Optima red top battery. Walboro fuel pump. Drilled front rotors. Larger volume radiator - no cooling issues. Painted carbon fiber hood. Custom front bumper. Wider custom fenders. Nrg hood struts, steering wheel and hood pins. Has stock exhaust manifolds with rear cat converter and apexi muffler. Just enough tone to let others know it's not a rotary. New tint 5/20. New Mazda scuff plates. New Mazda ash tray. New Mazda defroster grille. Pioneer touch screen head unit. Kicker front and rear speakers. Painted interior parts to match exterior and to get rid of the typical peeling Mazda interiors have Lsx emblems. Classic Z car has super rare blue interior and original paint. It is an AC car with everything in tact except compressor. Car has been meticulously maintained and preserved and it shows. This is a very collectable and correct early Z... blue interior cars are very rare especially in this unmolested condition. This little Z is a really fun and FAST driver. Looks, runs, feels, and drives fantastic. Excellent weekend cruiser or addition to any collection.... daily driver if you like while it increases in value... :) A true head turner and a blast to drive. Body is straight with no rust or collision damage whatsoever. Has 90% original paint with some touch ups and hood has been repainted. It presents nicely with some minor blemishes and period patina. Underside is ultra straight and clean. Seems and rubbers are good and the body, trim, moldings etc are well in tact.  Amazing original  condition. Rare factory blue Interior is very nice and correct. Seats, Panels, headliner, and dash look great with a nice dash cover. Gauges and electronics work properly except the clock of course. Matching numbers L24 Motor with coveted E31 head starts, runs, and idles excellent... Super responsive and nicely tuned... feels extremely strong. 4 Speed trans  shifts smooth through the gears. Suspension feels tight and handles excellent. Goes down the road straight with no wiggles, shimmies, or shakes... Stops straight and sure. EXCELLENT, FAST driver. Overall this is a Super nice little classic rare Z in great unrestored condition all around... it is extremely well maintained and nicely preserved. Awesome weekend cruiser, or potential show car. I am a Z collector... this is a great one for any Z car enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, original vintage sports car. In <b>Pictures</b>: Designs for the World&#39;s First 3D Printed Electric <b>Car</b> <b>...</b> Posted: 16 Apr 2014 03:32 AM PDT US car manufacturing maverick Local Motors has launched a competition to design the first 3D printed electric vehicle, and with entries already rolling in the final design is expected to wow. The competition, which is open for entries until 13th May, will be voted on by members of the Local Motors online community and judged by a group of experts including MakerBot CEO Bre Pettis. The chosen design will then be 3D printed using a Big Area Additive Manufacturing (BAAM) machine, the first large-scale 3D printer of its kind, at September's International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, US. "This vehicle may well be the coolest vehicle on the planet, at least to those of us in manufacturing technology," said Rick Neff, manager market development for Cincinnati Inc, the company providing the BAAM machine. With over $10,000 in prize money, the competition has already attracted some strong contestants, with designs ranging from sophisticated but traditional to cool and zany. Here we profile some of our favourites from the entries so far. Spider Net by Chavito This design is still in progress, but is shaping up to be pretty cool. According to car buffs in the Local Motors online community, the design could provide good structural strength while keeping the overall weight low. View full entry. Lithos by Lulu Taking inspiration from classic racing cars, this design uses opposing tapered elements to crate a rigid triangulated overall structure. Some areas of the vehicle are kept soft to provide added protection if an impact occurs. Hantig Concept by Gabriel Hantig Intended to be manufactured from just three components, this design forgoes doors in favour of a sleek, unbroken body complete with seats. With a front that some commenters have compared to designs by legendary Italian car design firm Pininfarina, this vehicle ties traditional design with a modern finish. View full entry.  3DPCarXperiment by Braunarsch Another work in progress, this design is interesting because it plays up the 3D printed aspect by incorporating the characteristic additive lines into the vehicle's finish. This truck has the very dependable land rover V8 motor with a 5 speed gear box. As I stated in the video, the gear box whines in 4th and 5th gears…..And let me say that all land rover gear boxes whine, but this is somewhat louder than some, but it works perfectly; no jumping out of gears and no hard shifting. These are cast iron motors and transmissions and they last forever. The frame on this truck is impeccable for a 1985 truck. This being an aluminium bodied truck, the brits do not send them to body shops for repair. They go to their home depot, buy 2 gallons of porch paint, and go at it with a roller and a brush; and that is exactly what you are going to get. The pictures don't lie. This truck was built and maintained as a daily driver. There are no oil leaks, no smoke, no shakes, no shimmies. The power steering on this truck makes it extremely easy to drive. All systems work on this truck….Every light, every interior light, directionals, headlights, fog lights….All work as they should. The radio works but does need the "code." All gauges operate as they should, including the fuel gauge. I remind you, this 29 year old technology will require maintenance and tweaking. Don't expect to have a maintenance free 'new car' experience.
