1930 Ford Custom Rat Rod (2014-07-23-14GM312) - CarPictures.com Posted: 23 Jul 2014 03:12 AM PDT About This 1930 Ford CustomPosted: 23 Jul 2014It's a steel henry Ford Body that has been chopped and set down on the frame. A fantastic job was done on the metal work before the Starlite Black paint was applied. What little trim it has looks great with new glass and seals. It's hard to put into words the amount of work that goes into a build like this. The paint looks great with a deep rich shine that you could rear a paper in. To keep the rod look he used Rocket Racing wheels with Old School Firestone 10.00 15 Race master Tires on the rear. Next, we will take a look at the interior. Everything on the inside is done in black. It's all new and is custom made with the Bucket Seats with a simple shifter. The door panels are covered in black leather and it has black carpet. The dash is all done in black as well as the V8 steering wheel. It has a new set of gauges in the dash. The interior is simple, but is set up perfect for cruising. Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Ford. Typically, I would say under the hood, but who needs a hood with this Bad Ass Ride. It's powered by an Old School Hemi that we believe is a 292 ci. It has the 6 Carb setup that gives it eye appeal that is unmatched. The valve covers are the factory style chrome. With the help of a midplate it has a GM Power Glide Trans that's hooked to a 9" Ford Rear End. Up front it looks like a 4" Drop Axle with the Trans Verse Front Spring. Disc brakes were added with all new bushings and steering. In the rear it has a 4 link with coil over shocks. The frame is all hand made to fit the body. The battery and fuel cell is mounted under the car in the rear. 1999 Acura Integra Type R JDM (2014-07-21 ... - CarPictures.com Posted: 21 Jul 2014 07:53 PM PDT About This 1999 Acura IntegraPosted: 21 Jul 2014Phoenix Yellow with matching yellow factory type e blk/yellow interior. The options from the factory on this car include, yellow Recaro front seats, yellow stitched shift boot, yellow stitched steering wheel, yellow stitched rear seats, factory rear tinted glass and metal pedal covers. The tinted glass on the glass has no hole for a rear wiper, not a delete, just no hole. The 1998 to 2000 Type R Integras are highly prized as these cars are the final perfected forms of the dc2 Integra Type R. While exact production numbers are not available, the Japanese spec type r, in Phoenix yellow with yellow interior, is possibly the rarest off all Type R's. Although I hesitate to call this car an Integra Type Rx, we have spoken with a contact at a japanese Honda dealer and he believes that this is in fact a Type Rx, because of the factory yellow interior and factory tinted glass. The interior code on the inner door jamb reads type E black/yellow indicating that this car was born with the yellow interior. Our contact in Japan believes that the original owner declined a couple options from the Type Rx package like blue tinted carbon interior accents, clock and keyless entry that would normally be included in the Type Rx package. Included in the sale of the car will be an original Type Rx Japanese brochure from Honda. This particular example, 1999 JAPANESE SPEC INTEGRA TYPE R #583 appears to have been nicely cared for throughout its lifetime, and is in overall excellent condition. The mileage currently reads 103,839 km (approx 64,522 miles), this number may go up as car is occasional driven on nice days. The car is currently titled with it's ten digit vin (DC2-1400504) in Florida. The car is listed under a dc4 U.S. vin as ebay wouldn't let me list with the real 10 digit vin. This is not a converted clipped car, this is a rear deal, right hand drive, all original factory car. The only non OEM parts on this car are the spoon drop in air filter, the Jasma cat back exhaust and aftermarket pioneer mini disc radio. These modifications were performed in japan by a previous owner and the car, as you see it, is exactly as it arrived from japan after purchase. All of these modifications are easily returned to stock, if the new owner chooses to do so. Upon arrival in the U.S. the car was taken to the Acura dealership, where it was given a clean bill of health and any necessary maintenance was performed. There are no check engine lights, funny noises, rattles or mechanical issues with this car, everything functions exactly as Honda intended it to. The car is used and does show minimal wear. The body panels are all original Honda parts and the paint appears to be to be original as well, with the exception of the front bumper, there has been a couple paint chips touched up on the hood and one on fender, there appears to be small front bumper scrape that was touched up as well, again these repairs were made by a previous owner. There are also a couple paint chips on the driver side door edge and a couple on the inner driver side door jamb, where it appears that the door may have been closed on the seat belt. As far as I can see there are 2 dings on the car one on the rear hatch by the Honda emblem and one on the filler panel under the rear tail lights. They could most likely be fixed with paintless dent repair. There is a small crease in the right side front corner of the hood, please reference pictures. Other than these flaws the body and paint are in excellent condition, the paint shines brighly as it should. The interior is clean and shows only a little wear on the driver side yellow Recaro, which would clean up with a light cleaning.. It appears that at one time a previous owner had a dash mounted navigation or radar detector that left an imprint on the dashboard. Other than that the interior appears to be in extremely good condition, the original Honda floor mats are also still in place. 1966 Austin Mini Cooper S (2014-07-19-14GIL00) - CarPictures.com Posted: 19 Jul 2014 09:00 PM PDT About This 1966 Austin MiniPosted: 19 Jul 2014ORIGINAL left hand drive U.S. delivered 1966 Austin Mark I Mini Cooper "S". I purchased this car in 1998. It has all its original body panels and there was no rust anywhere on this car. Since my purchase and subsequent restoration, the car has been driven less than 4,000 miles. These miles consist of driving to car shows and rallies in Southern California where it has won numerous first place trophies. I have a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate that shows this vehicle was built in September 1966 and exported to the United States as a personal delivery. I believe I am the 3rd owner and was told by the last owner this vehicle was originally sold in California. The car has been in a climate-controlled garage for the past 16 years and has never been in the rain or washed with a hose while in my possession. The car was restored over a 2-year period. It was completely disassembled and most of the original parts were painted, powder-coated or re-plated, and the body was sent out to be painted. The 1275 "S" motor was rebuilt to 1293cc by Graham/Heritage Garage (British Auto Specialists). Any original part removed from the car has been saved and these parts are included in the sale of this vehicle. Also included in the sale is a 2" notebook documenting the restoration with receipts along with repair reference material and various Mini Cooper related books. Please remember this is a 14 year old restoration and there are some cosmetic flaws. With this said, you won't find a more attractive, great handling, fast Cooper which has been very well cared for. The following is a summary of the condition of the car including items restored: Engine & Transmission 1275 "S" motor was rebuilt to 1293cc; Elgin cam 003; Aluminum head custom built; Stainless steel valves; Hi/Lift 1.5 roller rockers; 2 - 1.5 SU carbs; K&N cone air filters; Velocity stacks; ARP studs; AE pistons; AE rod bearings; AE main; Duplex lightened timing gears; New distributor; Rebuilt 4 synchro gear box; 3 - 1:1 final drive; Lightened flywheel; Lightened back plate; Competition Disc; Orange Diaphragm; steel LCB header with stainless steel RC40 twin box with dual centered exhaust pipes; Suspension & Brakes Front sub-frame powder coated; new rear sub-frame powder coated; wet suspension converted to dry; rebuilt "S" calipers; Brembo rotors; new output flanges; new pads; Hi/Lo kit; new cones front and rear; Spax adjustable shocks; adjustable tie rods; aluminum Mini Fins; Exterior Hella H4 head lamps with re-chromed bezel rings; genuine Wood & Pickett wheel arch/fender flairs; German BASF paint with clear coat on roof; Interior Black leather seating; Corbeau driver's seat available; 5 point harness for Corbeau seat available; Safety Devices roll cage front and rear; new carpet; Momo leather wrapped steering wheel; all gauges/instruments were rebuilt by North Hollywood Speedometers; Auto Meter tack; miscellaneous new chrome trim pieces; Wheels & Tires Original Mini Lites 10'x 6'; Yokohama A008 tires; Via www.ebay.com Source: scottcooper66Newbury Park, California, U.S.A.Portfolio | Web Site Search For MoreAustin Mini Web Page Copyright © 1998-2014 MotorCities.com, Inc. 1973 Volvo P1800 ES (2014-07-19-14GIL36) - CarPictures.com Posted: 19 Jul 2014 09:36 PM PDT About This 1973 Volvo P1800Posted: 19 Jul 2014I have owned the car since 1974 and when I purchased the car he had had less than 7,000 miles on it. There is no structural damage to the car. Some body work was done on the car back in 1973. The car was repainted around 1982 with the original color. There is some rust on the body, but the body is basically sound. The seats and interior are in good shape, the rug on the passenger side is damaged. The car has about 140,000 miles but the odometer failed and was repaired, so the actual odometer reading is incorrect. The car runs and can be moved out of its storage space on its own. It has a four speed manual transmission with electric overdrive. The radio is not original however all other parts are. The rug in the cargo space is in good shape. The windows, doors, and rear hatch all operate properly.
